SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed regarding the large variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration status sassa Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
